Leaf Description
Single narrow linear leaf 4-8cm x 2-4mm, downy hairy. Bright green.
General Description
Erect orchid to 15cm tall. Single bright blue, perfumed, star-shaped flower on top of a wiry stem. Grows in tufts. Single leaf is bright green and downy. Labellum is darker, mid-lobe deep purple, fringed with 4-8 rows of dense, long, shaggy calli.
Flower Description
Single bright blue flower to 40mm across. Spreading lanceolate perianth segments and dorsal sepal erect. 3-lobed labellum darker in colour than rest of flower. Lateral lobes erect, fringed at tipes, mid-lobe recurved and fridged. 4-8 rows of long calli.
