General Description
Slender saprophytic orchid with a dark brown, fleshy stem drooping at the tip until flowers open to 80cm tall. Leafless. Flowers are tubular, light grey-brown on outside and creamy white inside. Flowers emit a sweet perfume on warm days.
Flower Description
Spike of 4-23 drooping tubular flowers, cream on the inside and light brown on the outside, to 15mm across. Labellum yellow to orange enclosed by the flower, callus plate more elevated in divided section with dividing ridges closer together.
Flower Colour
Light grey-brown on outside, creamy white inside & on outer tips
