Leaf Description
Large, sparsely hairy, linear-lance like leaves 7-21cm x 5-13mm and reddish at base.
General Description
To 60 cm tall, with a single narrow leaf at the base of a hairy stem bearing one or two large, cream spider flowers. Flowers contain a scent of mouldy oranges. Listed as rare in Victoria and highly restricted in the Melbourne area.
Flower Description
1-2 showy white flowers to 120 mm across, sepals and petals white with deep red brown tips. Dorsal sepal erect and lateral sepals curving downwards all with very fine tips. 3-loped recurving labellum white with fringing purple-tiped calli and central calli in 4-6 rows.
