General Description
A saprophytic, leafless orchid with 15-50 pale pink spotted flowers. Erect, thick dark green to purplish-red stem to 1m high with overlapping bracts at the base. Widespread and common.
Flower Description
Spike of 15-50 pale pink flowers with fine darker pink spots, opening sequentially up the stem. Recurved ablong-lanceolate perianth segments. 3-lobeled pink labellum with dark pink stripes, with tip of mid-lobe densely pink-hairy.
