Leaf Description
Erect single narrow to rounded channelled leaf 10-20cm x 1-2.5mm, green or purplish, sheathing at base of stem; 2-3 sheathing stem bracts.
General Description
Perennial herb with fleshy egg-shaped tubers. Green, pink or reddish stem. Plants scattered.
Flower Description
1-4 raceme of salmon flowers, to 25mm across. Sepal tips pointed. Column pink with red collar and post-anther lobe yellow to orange and rounded. Short yellow column arms, with distinctively toothed or lobed margins.

Salmon-pink, reddish brown on outside

Growing Conditions
Moist soils around margins of swamps and in depressions. Flowers open freely on warm days.
