Leaf Description
Single slender leaf, round in cross section, hollow, to 25cm long, sheathed along stem until just below flower spike, open blade to 15mm long, pressed against stem.
General Description
Slender, to 30 cm tall, with 1-40 small dark purple-brown or green flowers in a dense spike. Stem greenish-brown and the single leaf is stem-clasping. Flowers upside down with lip (labellum) on top.
Flower Description
Spike of 1-40 tiny nodding dark purple/brown to green flowers with purple markings, to 4mm across. Dorsal sepal hooded, lateral sepals and petals long and tapering to point. A narrow labellum sharply pointed and narrow callus.
