Leaf Description
Tuft of 1-3 narrow, erect or lax channelled leaves 15-40cm x 7mm, red spots at the base.
General Description
A slender to stout orchid to 50cm high with 2-6 bright yellow flowers with brown marks held on erect, hairless stems with a tuft of 1-3 channelled grass-like leaves. Widespread species that can hybridise.
Flower Description
2-6 bridget yellow flowers with brown markings, to 30mm across. Ovate erect dorsal sepals with 2 brown spots near the base. Green lateral sepals parrallel crossed or spreading. 3-lobed labellum with short lateral lobels irregularly toothed. Mid-lobe keeled and spade-shaped, single raised ridge extending to the middle.
