Leaf Description
Linear to lanceolate leaf to 12cm on a wiry stem, reddish spots on base.
General Description
Slender erect perennial, to 30cm tall with a single narrow leaf at the base of a hairy green-brown stem bearing one or two large, white and red, spider flowers. Locally very rare and vulnerable in Victoria. Known to hybridise.
Flower Description
1-2 light green flowers with deep red hair on outside, to 80mm across. Perianth segments have very thin, deep red to brown tips.Lateral sepals flattened often striped. Labellum usually cream to pink with thick red red veins. Deep red calli on margins and 4-6 rows in centre.
